hello every one. ive got the same problem alot of other ss owners have. the paint on my wing is practicly gone so ive dicited to paint it.

i would like to pray paint it the same color as the car but finding the paint will be hard unless anyone knows the number on a specific can/ brand of spray paint.

the color of my car is Winestone Pearl.

if theres no way to find the same color im just going to paint it black.

thanks, Andy

you can have a paint shop mix up a can of the proper color and have it put into a spray can.

just tell them the paint code and they will put it in a can.

some will even mix from a paint chip so that it will match the faded paint on the rest of the car.

same here, I just chipped off the old paint and sprayed some John Deere Blitz Black. It's a nice flat color.

the black looks good on bright red but i am not sure how good it would look on a winestone pearl car.

do you know how much that generaly cost? thats an awsome idea. and if its within my check book that will be my choice.

it depends on the type of paint you want.

20-30 bucks is my guess for a 12 oz. can.

http://paintscratch.com/

They do exact factory colors and can put them in spray cans for you.

$24.95 per can and $7.95 shipping for 1 can and an extra dollar per extra can after the first.

Wet sand it with a very high grit sand paper and then buff it with some polishing compound. That will help get rid of the orange peel and make it shine better.

Buy new wiper arms. I wasted time trying to get the rust off so it could reappear in a few months until I found out the arms were only like $12 from the dealer.
