Stories of terrible drivers

Last night I went up the angeles crest with a few people, my car, and a friend's miata. We had gone up to the top of mount wilson, then back down and all the way to where the highway ends due to washed out road about 65 miles up. Here's a map I made with some pictures and descriptions. The end is the red marker and is way out in the middle of nowhere.
We headed back down, and the whole time I hadn't seen a single car. Then as I got a few miles from the upper big tijunga turnoff we finally saw some taillights up ahead. I slowed up, expecting to catch them around one of the next few corners. When I didn't I picked up the pace a bit.
Then I came around a long corner to find a bunch of dust and the smell of rubber in the air, with fresh skidmarks in the road. The tailights in question were just going around the next corner. I soon caught up to see it was a mid-90s civic with Mexico plates. I stuck behind at a reasonable distance, and the three of us in the car witnessed quite possibly the worst piece of driving ever.
It seems that he had spun it or gone off the road right before I caught him, which would explain all the dust and tire smoke. This guy was all over the road, understeering into the oncoming lane and nearly sliding into the wall on every corner. The funny thing is that I was just hanging out behind him at what I thought was a pretty slow speed, and he'd be sliding off the road. I stayed behind him for a few miles to see if he'd crash (because he didn't seem to want to let me pass), and then pulled over to wait for our friends.
Anyway I hope that jackass ran into the wall or off the cliff before he hit some random person driving up. I really wish we'd been able to find a video camera to borrow.
So, share your stories of vehicular idiocy.
