Ok, so my mom's Outback is having a few issues. Instead of trying to diagnose those without the aid of a scantool I have decided to use one.

I havent ever used one before so I had a quick question about the outback's ECU.

1: Will the ECU store past CEL codes?

2: Where the hell is the OBDII connector.

Yes

Just below the steering column on the left side on the driver's side kick panel.
