this is a great car. 92 stick are special the front diff and rear end are VLSD. and what they do for your car is unreal.
hadan auto till I could afford to get a 92 stick. am i glad, yes!
the first one was for me. had to have one. found a second one and this is for my son when he returns from the marines. god speed.
anyone who is thinking about this car should get over to it and buy it before you can't find one.
good hunting everyone. this one is the prize.
Bepa.
p.s. I am not trying to help reason out as much as I am telling people how great a car this is.
still bump for reason for offering it here.

Only 91's have the rear VLSD...otherwise it was a VERY RARE option on the Sport Sedan.

Thanks Bepa, but I'm not sure about the diff in this thing. I'll check when I go take more pics.

That looks way to solid to part out IMO
I'm sure you will have no problem selling it at that price

VLSD

IT will not be hard to see. the tags/labels are different. the one with a VLSD is larger and it will spell it out on the label.
yet if it is a 92 you have a special one for sure. would think you would enjoy it more.
thing is where do you life. great thing about this car. drive on to a iced spot. not in traffic or around others. stop on ice. let out the clutch and feel all four wheels pull you along. stoping is something different. if all working okay it is still ice we are talking about.
Reason you will get your price if body is okay, finish is not shoot and the drive train is good. all usually found with subaru's.
$1600 is not a bad price. have 2 now. one was $650 but need cam and crank sensor, inigition module and a coolant resvsior.
the other I had towed up from mississippi and cost a total of $1200 with the towing to new york. so for about 2k I have 2 92 SS's. and they are both white and sticks.
sorry for going on like that.
hang on to it. you will get your price. but they are worth the time to fix or hold.
be well and safe quick driving. Bepa

If you part it out, I'd like to know what the interior is like.

Looks like I'm going to keep this thing. I'm going to gut the interior though. The seats arent in the greatest shape, but will let go very cheap if you pick them up. I also have the rear seatbelts for sale at this time.

i would like to buy two things off that car.. the grille and the spoiler

The grill is in good shape, but I think the spoiler has a crack in it along the seam. I want to buy a wingless deck lid fir it.

Why do people like the wingless deck lid???
Is the interior carpet in good shape? Also, what about the trunk carpet or whatever it's called.

Because sometimes spoilers look gay.
Plus, a wingless trunk is waaaaaaay more sleeperish. That's one reason why I like 'em so much.

You hit that on the nose. I don't mind spoilers, I was just going for a different look.
The carpet is SHIT, I have the rear cargo mat. Don't look to bad, and I cleaned it PM me your offer.
I'm pulling the engine this weekend. The engine needs a cooling temp sensor, tube that goes from turbo to TB and gaskets or just a goos cleaning (car has been sitting for a month an started here and there, theres no oil spots on the ground.

Yes for sale yet again lol. I found the bike I want and need $1,000 so I'll be happy with that. Car sold as is as a parts car. Will need to be trailored home. It needs, coolant temp sensor, tune up and plastic tube from the turbo to the throttle body. Oh and it needs seats since I tossed the crappy ones out. I have Impreza front seats I will give with it, they just need seat rails.

Friday I'm buying the intake tube from here, getting new spark plugs and ordering the coolant temp sensor.

So what happened? The 97GT got creamed. Replaced it with an SS, now your selling the SS?
Is there another car, or just a bike? What kind of bike?

I replaced the GT with a neon lol. I use it for work since I do a lot of driving, good on gas. Thee SS is a project I don't have time for or care to spend money on. I'm looking to get a sportbike again. I like to get another 750 but will take a 600-1000. I'll do partial trades if anyone is interested. A bike is higher on my list than a built Legacy right now.

A Neon? Like the American Civic Neon? Good on gas, so not an SRT, right?
