n/a tranny with hydro clutch set up?

ive got an idea, im running an n/a 5spd and cable clutch. but i found a place that has the hydro clutch set up and i was wondering if this tranny is compatible with the hydro fork and the other parts.

Not without drilling out and tapping the spot for the clutch fork pin. Too much of a pain IMO.
If you want a hydo setup, use the push style hydo setup. It'll still be a bit of work, but won't require much machining. Just tapping the other boss for the clutch fork pivot ball.

I happen to like my cable clutch. It gives great feedback and its simple....
I have an 01 miata and I believe the legacy has better clutch feedback.

Why would you go to all that work just to have a hydraulic clutch?
I agree with gto7419...cable clutches are so much bettAr
(unless you are running a 2800lb pressure plate in your SS

)

Personally....I don't like the cable clutch on my 97 impreza. I'd rather have the hydro clutch on my legacy.
However mine may feel different because I got rid of the damper thing.

I also think the hydro clutches are improved by removing the damper. But that could be because the damper clutch car I drove needed some work.

ya thats one reason, and plus i can get better clutchs too. but idk
i like cable over hydro my self.
