I don't know of anyone who's ever perfectly sprayed their tires without ever getting overspray on something.

Your brake rotor surfaces can get very light surface rust on them overnight, just from the condensation in the night air. Drive once around the block and it will be gone. Your brake pads will scrub it right off.

You don't need to do anything.

It doesn't even take overnight. When I got my new rotors, I washed them with soapy water to make sure there wasn't any gunk on them before I installed them. I was able to watch surface rust forming on them as the last bit of moisture dried off.

The only time that would be a problem would be if you oversprayed massively onto the rotors either just before or just after getting them really hot.

We have had a few cars from dealerships (who use buckets of tire dressing) that have had messed up rotors from this. You could literally see exactly where they had oversprayed onto them, and if we tried to machine them, they wouldn't have a smooth finish where those areas were.
