Happy Fathers Day all my fellow fathers! Hurry up and relax, god knows we deserve it!

I have 3 kids myself, 1, 3 ,and 9. They keep me insanely busy and love them even more then my Subarus, which says a lot. ;)

Glad to see that there are good fathers out there - mine deserves to die in a fire.

I had a great fathers day. I have two kids.

We first went to the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center and Wasco County Museum outside of the The Dalles (oregon). Then we drove out further into the gorge and fished and swam for about 4 hours. Caught fish, drank beer and had a blast.

The only down part is my own dad is dead, and he went way too early....

He better be watching down on me and smiling! :)

You and your kids went fishing and drinking, Doug? Man, you don't hold them back at all! Welding at 5 and 6, drinking at 7 and 8!

My dad seemed to have a pretty good day. He went to his sisters house to help her open up her pool, then came home, sat outside and went swimming. My Fiance' made him a Manhattan, and I fixed up a yard cart he's been meaning to fix but hasn't had the time. My mom made us all a special dinner of his choosing (family tradition. Everyone gets what they want to eat on their special days).

My dad and I have a great relationship, which I will value forever. My dad is actually going to be my best-man at my wedding next year.

My puppy actually got me a fathers day card too!

My dad's dead....not much else to say there.

We had a good relationship up until he passed when I was 11. I'm not trying to put a wet blanket on this now-passed-by day. Actually, I'm here to say that if you have a dad who never beat you or hurt you, who took you out to do guy stuff and who paid attention to you then you should cherish them while they're still here. Even if your dad wasn't perfect but loved you all the same, try and recognize how hard it is to be alive on this spinning mudball and give him another chance. Life is short, for real and while we're all full of mistakes there's plenty of chances for redemption if you have an open.....mind or heart. Just remember to not sweat the small stuff and that it's all small stuff (excluding deliberate pain caused by another of course).

Matt, I'm glad you had a good day. I wished you a happy father's day I think. If not, then consider my losing at faction a gift...
