Stainless turbo line

Hey guys i just got my 16g back from deadbolt and would like to get a stainless oil feed lines before i install it. I was thinking of going with -4 AN size line per advice of a buddy. But as ive been reading on NASIOC is appears most people go with -3 for a TD04. Ive also been hearing mixed warnings about needing a restrictor to regulate pressure. But then i hear this only applies to ball bearing turbos, not thrust bearing turbos. Anyone have any input on this?
Also can anyone confirm the thread/pitch of the banjo bolts for the adapters.
Head - M12x1.25
Turbo (TD04/05) - M10x1.5
Any reason i shouldn't do away with the banjo bolts for AN male adapters?

Do you want to do this for more oil volume? I don't really see the purpose since the factory line is a metal hard line.
If the holes on the inlet & outlet of the larger line remain the same size, you're really not going to be able to flow anything more through.

Main reason is fitment, i almost crimped the line trying to bend it into position to work with the TD05.
Also wouldnt the flow/pressure be determined by the banjo bolt hole sizes since they are smaller then the boss' they thread into?

If you have a fitment issue, then yeah I can see going to the braided SS line.
I don't recall the size differences. I seem to recall the inlet at the turbo is pretty small. Either way, the smallest fitting will limit your flow.

Right, the turbo banjo bolt is an M10 thread but the actual hole in the banjo bolt is much smaller, so unless im mistaken the male AN adapter would allow more flow. But then the question of pressure comes up

The stock line is outrageously expensive. The only reason to go an SS line is if you break the stock line.
That's been our mantra, and it's been good so far. For outrageously large turbos, a stainless line is required simply because the stock line won't fit.

So the stock line can supply enough pressure/volume for any TD04/05/VF turbo?
