Coolant leak, between turbo and throttle body.

Post by vica153 »

After installing my AWIC, I now have a small coolant leak somewhere between the turbo and the throttle body. Its hitting the ground below that area and I can see some wet spots looking down at that area, but I have been messing with so much stuff lately I can't be sure exactly where its leaking. I replaced the upper turbo coolant hose, it wasn't that. I guess I'll look at the lower one, and then maybe start taking things off to get a better look.

Anyone have any ideas? What other coolant lines are in that area?

Coolant hardpipe -> Throttle Body -> Idle Air Control -> Coolant Crosspipe

Coolant hardpipe -> Coolant fill box -> Turbo -> Head

Found it. It was a pin hole leak in the hose from the throttle body to the IAC. It squirts coolant real well at 10 psi.

Thanks for fast reply splinter.
