Like them or not, you could probably get double what you are asking if it had them on it and you threw it on Ebay...

That's sick. I don't know a whole lot about the 924. How would that do as a year round daily driver?

They are pretty good...
Not crazy fast...but almost 50/50 weight distribution, good mileage, simple to work on and parts are not outrageous...and you can do a lot in the upgrade department.
I have driven one in the snow...and while not the best car in the snow (compared to Subaru) they ain't too bad

how does the roof work on that?
is there a hard top that fits in the opening or is it a vinyl top that snaps in?

What is the suspension layout? What motor and how much power do they make? Curb weight?
77 = carbs, huh?
Hmm. Looks really well maintained.
Why doesn't the odometer work?

CIS fuel injection baby. Pretty much all the same fuel system parts as an early Scirocco or Rabbit.
I think weight is somewhere around 2400lbs.
Suspension is McPhearson in front, and a torsion bar in rear, just like all other Porsches up to 97'.
Motor in front, tranny in back.
The top is a steel shell that pops out, but is prone to leakage. I have a garage, and thats where it sits on wet days.
Power is lacking. The motor is a variant of the Audi 80 motor, tilted over. (I think the 80 stands for horsepower) Its certianlly no rocket, but handles awfully nice for my 40 mile a day commute, and gets good mialage to boot.
Odometer doesnt work because its a 30yr old german car that was quirky to begin with.
