How do I tell what year these WRX calipers are from?

I just got a set of front and rear WRX calipers to throw on my Legacy. I was told they were from a 2002 or 2003 WRX. So I want to make sure I order the right pads because the caliper design changed at some point in 2002.
The only numbers I've found on the web are these:
Front Calipers:
1/2002-7/2002 WRX: D 721
8/2002-2005 WRX:: D 929
Rear Calipers:
1/2002-10/2002 WRX: D1379/ D770
11/2002-2005 WRX: D1004
None of the numbers on my calipers match any of these. This is what I have found:
Rear calipers -
3818
AD38
4 BI
2432
10-14
Front calipers -
(left) 62L T1
(right) 62R T2
TOKICO
2XP
How do I decipher this???

IIRC, the only difference is how many tabs are on the sides of the pads to hold them in the caliper as I had this issue. Mine turned out to be the earlier design and I THINK they were two tabs on each side of the pads, so the caliper should have the one tab that would fit between them for the earlier version.

I have the old pads that came with the calipers, but they're shot. I'll check em out. Are there any shops chain automotive stores that sell the axis pads so I can just compare them in person. I just hate the idea of ordering something by mail that I might have to send back. I'm so impatient.
OK...
Front pads have ONE tab on each side. Same with the rears. So maybe I have the newer version from 2003-2005 WRX? If this sounds wrong someone please correct me.

Maybe you could check a dealer and let them look at a pair or go somewhere they have OEM you could just look at and tell them they're the wrong ones if you don't want them. It could have been one tab on the earlier also, as I really don't remember.

It was one tab on the earlier and later style pads.
What changed was the width of the tab. One was 13mm while the other was 10mm. I can't remember off the top of my head, but a good brake guy (such as WRXBrakes on Nasioc) should be able to tell you. That's how we figured out which style pads mine took, and they fit perfect.
