Subaru has wheel "sales"

Every once in a while, when certain types of wheel styles get a little older, Subaru will drop the price on them dramatically.

For example, the 15" wheels pictured on this 98 Forester, which I believe is part number 28111FC050:

... currently lists for $96.92 each from a dealer. You can buy a brand-new set of these wheels for under $400.

Considering that many Subaru alloy wheels list for more than that for each individual one, that's a REALLY good deal.

I believe there is an SG Forester 16" alloy wheel that is similarly priced, but I'd have to check on it.

I'm actually buying a set of these exact wheels myself for my Legacy.

Just letting you guys know, in case you want some nicer OEM Subaru wheels.

The cheapest SG wheels I can find are slightly more expensive, but still relatively cheap.

These wheels (look at the wheels, not the Lesbo in the car  )...

... list for $137.76 each, and their part number is 28111SA020.

No STi wheels are "cheap." They're all over $700 a pop, even for the 04 ones.

CRAP!

Anyone who bought these wheels, consider yourself lucky.

The price on the original wheels we were discussing have gone back up. List price is back up to $300 per wheel.

This has literally happened in less than a week, because I sold a set of these to a friend last week for the "sale" price.

My dumb ass only has 3. I've been buying them slowly because I didn't have the money to buy them all at once. Now I waited too late, and am going to pay more for the 4th wheel than I did for the first 3

Try a junk yard search. car-part.com is a national search of yards and many of them on there break new wrecks, not just old garbage. That's how I got mine and they were pretty much mint.
