I am wanting to source a raw PPG Gear Set, but am not having much luck.
No, I don't want to buy a tranny already built, I want to do this on my own, with my dad's help of course. It will be a good learning experience as well. I want to prepare the cars tranny before i really go f...crazy with the motor and turbo, all for local drag nights at the iowa speedway.

We are the worlds largest importer/distributor/installer of PPG gears. Plus, we are the sole US importer, everyone in the country gets their stuff from us.

That said, I hope you have a WRX case to bolt all of the gears into...While the Legacy Turbo case is fine, you need a 1999+ gearset for the gears to work. The synchro engagement hub changed in 99, and the PPG gears are designed with the newer hubs.

So you will need the newer internals.

If you want to go with a dogbox, which I do wholeheartedly recommend because it's awesome, it'll work in a T-leg transmission.
