I am going to the junkyard Saturday to pull a bunch of parts for my 90 Legacy L. I want to do the AWD conversion as well. I found two AWD Subies. One 97-98 Outback and one 93-94 Legacy. Does it matter which rear end I get? I want to put the Outback springs and struts on for the extra height so can I just bolt up the entire Outback rear end? What about the Outback tranny, I believe it was a 5spd. It's a non-turbo car by the way. From what I've read it looks like the Outback parts will work, I just want to double check before I spend all day removing this stuff. Also, does anyone know of any "special" problems I might run into doing this? I believe that's it, wish me luck and any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brandon

match the rear end with the tranny... you have to have the same gear ratio front to back other wise youll toast your driveline.... so 3.90 to 3.90 and 4.11 to 4.11 final drives
