Blown strut, what to do now?

Hey guys,

I have 94 touring wagon. I recently blew my passenger side front strut while up camping.

I am wondering if an 04 Forester XT suspension would just bolt up? I wouldn't mind gaining a bit more ground clearance.

I have read the stickies, but there is nothing solid in there about this setup. I also searched, but didn't come up with anything.

I'm open for other ideas also.

Thanks in advance for any input!

Hey Dave,
I'm in the same boat :(
I think that I've blown ALL my struts though.
They are KYB GR2's I've had in since '99.
I was thinking 'bout replacing them with the same to keep
the same ride height. I am open for in-put or suggestions.
Goal is to corner flat on the track but still have enough
ground clearance for here in Colorado :-)

Hey there buddy! I ended up going with KYB AGX's and stock springs.

All 4 of my stock struts had no compression left in them.

So far I am pleased with the setup. :)

Hmm. With the AGX's I can adjust the struts so that they are like the GR2's or hard? or soft? Will they react like the GR2's is the real question? Thanks :)

agx's will be slightly stiffer than gr2's I believe at the softest setting. i like mine a lot.
