Who has done a high compression stock motor? Results?

I ask this because of the two NA motors running right now, MY wagon, which is using my old original AWESOME NA motor, which never blew up even at 12 psi until I ran way too much nitrous through it, has noticibly less power than my other wagon which has heads that were just shaved....

Basically, the shaved heads seem to give significantly more power than my other "stock" motor.

Anyone else have this kind of results?

wrc cars run 10.5:1 compression.
to do this you need good head studs.
sleeve the block, and gas o-ring the heads.
not a cheap way but well worth the results.

wrc cars are also... turbo. Not N/A.

I bet you could do 10 or 11:1 with ARP 11mm studs and nothing else really. Be careful tuning it though.

He may have around 10:1ish compression on his "shaved head" stock motor now, probably with stock head studs.

How much cyl pressure do you generate on a compression test on the high comp motor?
