put on a new fuel filter, its about $26 at the dealer or so.
won't hurt anything to do that, and you will learn some wrenchin
skills
also, the electrical connecter for the fuel pump is under the back seat, and is prone to shorting out, so check that. just pull out the 2 bolts holding the bottom seat portion out and you will find the connector.
If after all that, you still get no fuel, then replace fuel pump. on the wagon, it is just behind the passenger side rear upper fold-down seat, and you will see the cover with phillips screws, it is under the rear compartment carpet. Pull up the hatch carpet, remove the screws from the cover, and then you will get to the fuel pump. don;t buy a new fuel pump at the subaru stealership (the turbo pumps are expensive from stealership) buy a Walboro high pressure pump for the 02-05 wrx with the install kit, and it will mate right up and be lots cheaper than dealer new, and will perform better than oem,

One thing to check, if you also have no spark and non of the above things are the problem, is the fuseable link to the ecu. Mine went out so the car sat for months before figureing out that that was the problem.
