No brembo's?
Do you still need a set of 4-pots, or rear 2-pots? I know a guy selling them for not too much moneys.

Brembos just arent worth the cost, imo... especially since my car should only weigh around 2700lbs.
And yes, I need to give your friend a call... I totally forgot about that

are you going to weld in new steel or drill out the spot welds and replace the entire roof with a non sunroof one?
if you weld in new steel to fill the hole you need to be really carefull that you dont warp the roof. it is really easy to warp it and have the roof look really crappy and wavy.

please, tape off the wheels, they make bags to cover them. Where are your doors?
trunk, hood, and fenders? yikes show more
so far so good, just don't let it set in primer long. in primer, it will rust, cause remember, primer is not a sealer like paint. paint seals, primer no
good luck keep posting pics.

The wheels are getting sandblasted and repowdered anyway, they're my worst set of rims
The doors, hood, and fenders are in my basement, pending bodywork
What primer?

if he is doing what i think he is doing priming the car would be a big waste of time.
lots of welding and filling in the sunroof gives me a pretty good idea of what he is up to.

Low heat, and space out your tacks...
And if possible, clamp some 1/8" or so flat bar around the area that you are welding to help dissipate the heat
