What one will prevent knock and lean/rich situations?

Given that knock/rick/lean/DETONATION!!1! will murder the engine I need to know if a SAFC II will prevent the above. I know a Greddy Emanage will but I've seen SAFCIIs for less and since I'm only set up for 7PSI I want to know if a SAFC II will work.
Also, would I need a RRFPR with a SAFC II or not?
(It''s a money factor)
(Or SAFC NEO)

The only thing that will prevent running rich or lean is you knowing how the engine is running, and setting it up properly so that it runs well within its parameters...
I would strongly suggest a Wideband Oxygen Sensor to go along with your SAFC or whatever you use.

+1 on the wideband. No modified turbo car should be without it.

Roger that on the wideband. So can I run a SAFC NEO rich for a few weeks and then use a wideband to tune it up along with a small intercooler and 92 or so octane fuel and reliably get back between work and school?
