Rear LSD... Is it worth it??

I can get a rear lsd for $133 plus shipping.

What I want to know is if this mod is worth it. It seems like a good deal but i am not sure how many miles are on it.

The main reason I am interested in it is because come this winter I plan on a lot of trips up to the mountain to snowboard and I want good traction.

Another question I have is how much harder will it be to handle in the snow. My dad basically said that I will be able to go through unbelievable things but it will also take a lot more experience to control the car and I got my license on July 20th so I am not the greatest driver... yet.lol

So I am kinda torn on this. Any suggestions would be great.

I just finished putting a rear LSD in my impreza, and it made a WORLD of difference

Like, seriously
Even on dry pavement I can feel it taking hard corners

It's really, really nice to have on these heavy cars. Much of the change I found was on loose or wet surfaces and snow, where my TW would flop around. The GT, with rear LSD, goes where I point it.
