What to look for when buying a legacy gt turbo?? HELP??

I am currently on the look for a cheap legacy gt turbo,
i have found one iwht not great paint but all in all she's a bargain.
What things do i need to check to make sure its worth buying.
I know from the pics she is a 1993-1994 (L reg to uk peeps)
Estate GT automatic.
Any help would be great as although i use to own an impreza i know nothing of these leggys (yes another member to change over to the dark side.)
