ok, so i've been searching for the last 30min and i cant find the info i need so here goes!

will any impreza strut bars work on my 92-94 legacy sedan.

also does anyone know if any impreza bars will work on a 95-99 legacy?

what about 2000-2004?

90-94 Legacy and 93-01 Impreza have the same fitment

I'm pretty sure 95-99 Legacy and 02-07 Impreza are also the same. They do for sure in the rear, and I'm assuming the front bolt pattern has the same rotation.

With Gen 3 Legacies, maybe the front bars still work.

Front and rear work between 92-94 legacy and 93-01 impreza. I can confirm this as we have both cars and have swapped.

As for the other cars, I do know the 95-on legacy has a different setup.
Same with 02-on Impreza.

Sounds like a GC impreza front bar will fit, a GD impreza rear bar will fit.

haha, now i just need someone with a 95+ legacy so i can do some test fitting trial and error.. who lives in portland, oregon?

I have a 95 BD legacy. I fit a front bar for a 94-01 impreza on no problem. I bought a rear bar for an 02-06 WRX and it fit, although I had to cut away about 3/4 of an inch of sheet metal behind the backseat area next to each strut in order for it to clear. These are eBay cheapsters too mind you, so it may be that the fitment was hard in the back because of that.

OK, while at Subiefest, we tried to put a GC carbon Strut tower bar on a 95-99 series legacy and it would not fit. But I bet that if the bar you get is adjustable, it might fit. But because the carbon bars do not adjust, they will not fit.

Also subaru made a different style of front strut tower bars for the 95-99 series Legacies.
