So this morning is was cold and wet here in the Mile High. So I start my car and shes all over the place at idle chugging and sounding like the engine is beating itself to death. I have to give her gas to keep her going, I wait as long As I can but I have to get moveing. Shes like a pig down the road almost no power but full boost, than all of the sudden the power all hits at once and takes off, its also is chugging like a whore at the stop sign and almost stalling, After awhile she gets warm and its all good. Im guessing the IAC valve need to be eithier cleaned/replaced. 1992 SS 5 Speed No engine Mods Has newer plugs, wires and coil Any other thoughts?

It sounds to me like the moisture infiltrated one of your connections and is causing the problem. It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and clean your IAC, but I think the real problem is elswhere. Take each plug wire off and spray things down with WD-40, and then your connectors too, especially the ones related to the ignition.

Good luck,
Jeff

Its the cold that seems to be doing it rather than the wetness
