I seem to remember finding a website once that had FIA or Rally America legal cages for the BC5 available in kit form.

After a half day searching I can't come up with anything.

Anybody know who I was looking for?

Looking for a kit because I can weld, but don't want to invest in the tools to bend.

Custom Cages from the UK is one brand that has a kit for the 90-94 legacy.

poke around over on www.specialstage.com for more tips.

I've already contacted Safe Drives in Oregon(?). They are distributors for most makers, even the European ones. I'll post here and let everyone know what they say.

I've just recently started browsing Specialstage again. About 2-3 years ago I lived over there. Kids demanded alot of attention, and I outgrew my '84 Colt turbo rallycross machine and sold it for the SS.

Got more free time, and money, now and the Legacy is starting to come together, so if I'm gonna jump back into the rally scene it's gonna be now. Only getting older. 8)

Pat Richard's shop Rocket Rally has a good "starter kit" for the legacy. at least one member here has a cage built by them.

FYI I did this cage in my old 90 rally car. It was a nice cage but definatly not a ready to weld in kit. I think there was like a 11% tollerance or something retarded Barrett Dash @allwheelsdriven.net installed it for me and he said it was a royal PITA... Had to stretch the bars renotch them cut them etc. However the footplates were very nice and it had a bad ass gusset in the center X from the roof down to the bottom.

I got a Cusco/Safety-21 bolt in cage from my JDM importer when he parted out a BC.

They probably do not make these anymore, but you may want to e-mail Cusco to find out.

My buddy fabs tube frame drag cars & can fab/install a cage for a BC Leggy if anyone in the NYC area is interested....
