Fog Light Wiring Questions

I am trying to install my fog lights with the jdm switch. There are 6 wires on the switch wiring harness... I am not sure where to hook up what. Can anyone help me??? Any type of diagram would be greatly appeciated.
Also what relays do I need?
And what bulbs are in the fog lights? They are really tiny so I dont think that they are h4 bulbs like gt2.5turbo thought in his thread.
Thanks in advance

I can tell you from my experience with the leveler switch for the EDM lights.....the wiring in the switch is a little funky. You'll have a separate power & ground source for the ilumination bulbs. These get tied into the existing illumination circuit so things dim properly.
The other leads....there's probably a separate ground & power lead for the little orange light that lights up when you click the switch, and then the last two wires would tie into the relay used to turn on the fogs.
I had to pull the switch apart, look at the circuit board, and test things with my multi-meter to figure out what pin did what....

So how do I dismantle the switch without destroying it?

I have the switch set-up, so if you are not in a hurry, I can test out my leads and draw you a diagram.
As for the bulbs, I am pretty sure they are H4 I can check at home tonight about the bulbs.
originally Subaru uses a switched ground.
Mine is now switched power like most lights, so you may decide to go with the original Set-up.

The fog-light switch wires are the same as the rear defroster switch wiring in the manual, with the exception of the #6 wire. I just taped it off and didnt use it when I wired mine up.

here's the switch
actually my camera phone wont send pictures for some reason
it can hold six wires (in the harness) but only has five in it right now.
did somebody post a diagram or something?
i just need a little (huge understatement...) guidance

I think its like this...
Connect
Pin #5 to ground... ( defrost works fine)
Pin #1 to the acessory ( so the lights turn off with the car)
Pin #3 to the 85 port on your relay
Now... On Pins #2 and #4... These are illumination wires...
Someone can explain those better than I...
In a minute I will post a crappy little diagram I drew...

Beat me to it.
The other two can be spliced into another switch for the illumination circuit.

#4 gets 12v power, thats switched when the headlights are on. And #2 goes to the illumination control, or to ground. They light the switch so you can see it at night.

i made this schema from the information i got from this forum
i just wanna know if this correct and where i can get
and what kind of relay i need.
i would like to know also where do i hook up the wire
when ou said ground you mean anywhere to the chassis?
where do i get the 12v power same source of the radio?
and
illumination accesory where do i found that ?
also those two wire on those fogs "black/white black stripe"
where do they go.
do i have to remove the black grill where those fog goes? on the bumper!
picture would be so great, im so impentient to install these.

yes these foglights are teh tits. so bright!!
aah, but yes you can ground to basically anything metal that is easily within reach.
I was impatient and just wired a line straight from the battery to a large fuse, which went to my switch.
Contrary to what people told me when i did this like 2 years ago, my switch has not burned out and the fuse does a great job of protecting my setup.
also I grounded my lights under a screw in the engine bay.
I know i made a really useful thread about this, search around and you should find it.

yeah you are going to have to remove teh black fillers in the bumper.
STi Pro, who i havent seen on here in awhile sadly, also did a sweet writeup on what he did to make these fogs fit with the USDM bumper beam... as ours will not directly let us just fit the fog lights right in.
I didnt want to mess with welding or any of that business so i used really long bolts with supporting extentions and drilled holes to fit in my bumper beam.
hopefully this stuff helps

thx for replying
that help a little
which wire on the fog light is the ground one?
black wire or black with a white stripe! what fuse you use? 15-20?
does anyone else did the right way to connect these so the light on the swich work as its should?
i read that its as two ground and two power? am i correct?
