i was thinking gold because i liked the way my old p7's looked, my brother was trying to say black (i hate gloss black wheels) and the lady at the powdercoating place just threw WAY to many colors at me and i just couldnt decide.

I am sure you know that you can get powdercoat in different % of gloss. Mine for example, are 60% black. Just reminding you. What ever color you get, you would probably want to keep the percent of gloss involved in your decision. If they are too glossy, they mirror reflect the road surface and make the finish of the powdercoat look distorted or mottled. On your style of wheel it might not be an issue though.

Um, Why Jake are you considering painting them?

The silver on the red looks good with the FMIC!

x2, They look pretty good as they are.
Or a satin gunmetal would go well w/ your red/black scheme without being gloss black.

Black on red looks good. I say black with a red stripe. time attack style!

well, they're all rock chipped and need to be "refinished" anyways, so i figure might as well try a new color :-)

How about silver on the rim and gunmetalish in the center, something like this...

I think it goes will with the kinda blackout thing you got going and highlights the wheels. All balck/dark always makes the wheels disappear.

Just a thought

Why not black with a silver lip?
That would look cool.

Black with red rim-piping (sort of like a pin-stripe on the outer rim lip/edge) Yamaha R1 Style!!!

I actually like the silver, but if you must paint them, british black would look amazing. Like the Forester STi conversion you guys did.

I would go with gold personally, I think it'd look real nice with the Rio Red.

I'm not usually a fan of 'rimmed' wheels but that black and silver Gary threw up does look awfully good. It goes well with the black scheme you have going on with the car and still keeps the wheels from falling out of the picture. I put my vote to that.

Or gold.

+1 for pics of gold

but also when you blacked out the trim, did you paint or pull the chrome?

i'll post a whole mess of pics for you guys tomorrow :D

and the chrome on the front and rear bumpers were pulled off, but you cannot pull the chrome on the side mouldings off and i just cant get paint to stick to them (we practiced on my bro's car) so i just electrical taped over them and it works awesome and you can only tell when you get really close to it.
