Tleg catback on N/A leggy

I'm driving my dad's '94 LGT wagon for awhile while I'm working on my loyale. and the thing feels soooo gutless (probably cause it weighs about 800 lbs more than mine). I was thinking opening up the exhaust might help, but being my dad's car, it needs to remain quiet as stock.

I've got this Tleg turboback sitting next to my parking slab. it's noticeably bigger piping. and looks like it'll easily bolt up to the stock Y-pipe (after removing the downpipe, of course).

Thoughts? would it remain as quiet as it is? would it yield the few lb/ft I'm seeking? or am I risking lost time and broken bolts for nothing?

I doubt it would make much any difference...

My girlfriend's old NA Legacy had Turbo Exhaust on it...and it seemed about the same as any other NA Legacy...apart from it was louder.
