There is a JDM MR2 in my garage as we speak

I'm as serious as a heart attack.

One of my friends in the UCF Car Club has THE only JDM MR2 in the United States, and he and the rest of the gang were on their way to NOPI in Atlanta.

Well, the alternator died as he was down in my dealership's vicinity, and he called me up asking if I could store it in his garage for the weekend.

So while he's at NOPI, I'll be searching for an alternator (and hopefully a good Yota mechanic) tomorrow. He says that any USDM 3SGTE alternator will work, so I should be able to get one from Advance or something like that.

It's dark now, so I can't take good pics. But if I have time tomorrow, I'll get pics of it.

Yeesh. I'm trying to change this thing myself.

Why do people buy cars that are so hard to work on?

Getting the alternator off the bracket was surprisingly easy. But to get the alternator out of the engine bay, that bracket must come off the engine. I've removed every single visible bolt and nut pertaining to that bracket, and it still won't budge.

 I'll stick with Subarus, thank you.

Mmmm... MicroMachines. Yum!

They look sick! Almost like the Isuzu (Austrailian version of the Geo Metro (model name escapes me at the moment). They were 4 cyl turbo models.

Yes. Sunni GTI-R is AWD with a viscous center and rear diff, SR20DET under the hood.
