What would you guys do?

I'm in a situation right now. Tomorrow I can go pick up the head bolts and gaskets and swap in an EJ20 (usdm WRX) block with Legacy Turbo EJ22 heads running on the 1.8L ECU and run it in N/A trim for a while or keep in the EJ18 for a while in N/A trim.
It supposedly has lower C.R. then the 1.8 but it has .2Lt more displacement and no soot or carbon that the 150k mi. 1.8 engine does.
What would you guys do?
I kinda want to see how it feels and sounds being a little bigger and allot younger.
