John's UK 92 Legacy Engine

John: Your UK version has some type of EJ20G engine. The serial
numbers are under your alternator and/or where the two crancase halves
meet. I don't know how to tell an EJ20G Type RA from a lesser EJ20.
Does anyone out there know?
Item 2: Lost styrofoam is how they form the water jackets within a sand
casting. The water jackets are a male mold made of styrofoam that melts
out when the aluminum is poured in. Sand casted aluminum is tougher
than die-cast. My die cast boat popellers are cheaper, more brittle and
less repairable than my sand cast props.
Item 3: I am surprised that people with Apexi AVC-R boost controllers
want to sell their manual guages. I like to see other data on my AVC-R
so I kept my VDO guage in my line of sight.
