For the AT tannys, what fluids do you guys use and how much. idk if theres anything special trans fluid for suby or anything. Cuz on my suby(never driven it yet, got it for free a bit ago), the trans im replacing appeared to have like gear lube or just oil in the trans.....which was weird so thats y im asking this question. I also found that the tranny dip stick is the shortest thing iv seen
so any help would be appreciated

Seems like you are checking the front differential fluid, which is on the right side of the car/trans. IIRC it takes 75w90 or 80w90.
The AT fluid dipstick is on the left side of the car/trans and should have redish colored AT fluid. Check it while the engine's running, and use Dextron III.
Is this why you're replacing the transmission?

no, tranny is grinding and park doesn't work. Also putting in a 4:11 instead of that 3.9 that is in there. umm well me and my friends looked all around and couldn't find the red dip stick. I think its missing

o well. it will be replaced. how many quarts do you need?

Red dipstick? The dipsticks have been yellow, so you'll never find the "red" dipstick... Or are you refering to the dipstick that checks the "red" tranny fluid??

The AT dipstick is black, it may be under some hoses so you have to look for it.
