Cracked up-pipe (Thoughts on APS's Up-pipe)

Well I replaced the window....and decided to check out an exhaust leak I've had for a little bit. What I thought was a minor gasket issue turned out to be a cracked up-pipe. The crack is at the flex part.
The car actually runs ok with a cracked up-pipe. I've noticed some irregular boosting & lag, which I'm assuming/hoping is related to the exhaust leak. It would explan some of the weird issues.
I haven't had a chance to search on any recommendations, but I do feel I should get one with a flex section in it. Any quick thoughts/recommendations on what you may be currently running.
When I get some more time I'll do a more thorough search.

As you know, I have had the CES TBE for a couple of years. A few months ago, when I put in the VF-12 and the FXT IC, I went with the CES cross pipe and the CES up pipe. Seems fine to me. Fitment was good. Do wish I had wrapped them before installing, but the stock heat shield fit the cross pipe, so used it. I know you were frustrated with your CES TBE for a while, but the cross and up pipes fit on my car just fine.

I've been looking around at up-pipes that have a flex joint in them, and the APS unit seems to have some pretty good "specs" and engineering behind it. There looks to be a newer one with a cast tapered section.
Here's some of the info I was reading. Anbody have any comments?

Well the APS unit didn't really fit right....not sure if it's an application issue, or QC.
There was a 1/4" gap between the up-pipe & manifold. The parts guy I talked to said the flex joint should be stretched some....but that's way too far. I tried tightening things down, but when I started it up, there was an exhaust leak. I didn't feel like messing with it....so I'm just going to put a stock one back on. I may see if I can find a stock STi one locally as well to test.
Here's pics of the APS unit

Got an STi up-pipe this past weekend, and put it in last night. The car is running again, and boost does seem to build quicker then before. I just drove around the block a few times, so I need to drive it some more.
