I have a 1994 Legacy L that came without any stock stereo or deck harness. I have an old Pioneer deck (~1999). I bought the Metra 99-8900 online thinking it would easily interface between the dash and deck but it don't do sh_t. Theres know way the pioneer fits into those slots!!!

Also, I don't know where to buy the connector to go into the pioneer deck for power/signal.

The aftermarket deck should have come with its own harness that plugs into the unit to bare wires. If you dont have one you need to prolly just get a newer deck for like $50 or less with a harness. You might be able to get one from Pioneer but on such an old deck it might not be worth it.
The Metra harness is supposed to interface into the stock Subaru deck harness and then you splice those bare wires into the deck side harness bare wires. Unless someone already cut the car-side harness, in which case you need to find a wiring diagram on www.the-12-volt.com and rewire it.
