I'm new to this site, but i've been looking around. And i'm interested if it is possible to fit a Subaru SVX 3.3l h6 engine, into a 93 Legacy Wagon with a 5 spd tranny. Cause this is something i want to try.

Has anyone tried this before? if so, how did it come out? doe's the eg33 even fit into the engine compartment of the legacy?

I have heard that the EG33 will fit...but it is an extremely tight fit...and a bunch of crazy stuff has to be done with radiator and whatnot...

The 5 speed will bolt up though :D

Can't rememeber who exactly it was, but I do believe there is a 94 FWD 5MT with an EG33 in it. Don't know any details though.

I think it was an impreza that was made to be a rockcrawler so they gave it the g33.

This weekend I saw an Impreza coupe that had an EG33 in it. The guy had removed the stock rad and AC condensor, cut away some metal, and put in a radiator from a 300ZX (I think).

Sounds like the same car, but he said it was the car's first outing. :?

Damn, that's sad. Seems like it went up because of a leaking fuel injector, my Legacy did this twice, but I caught it in time both times.
