The Crabcake thread

So I'm waiting on a care package from home that includes my Swedish coffee (Gevalia) and homemade fudge, among some other things. I haven't been sleeping lately, sometimes up until nearly 6 am most nights. I just can't get my mind to settle down enough to be tired. I can't find any weed here, which is killing me/no fun. I have a newfound addiction to Chipotle, though. (that place is so fn good!) I was up for nearly 32 hours yesterday and finally crashed after dinner, missing the next episode of Heroes. (I love that show!) and wokeup around 6 this morning after having worse than my usual vivid bad dream. (I dream in HiDef, among other features) but I took a nap from 10-230 and wokeup to check the mail, only to find that again, my box isn't here. The medical supply stores don't have what I need (some of you know what that is).
So I'M CRABBY!
Who else is feeling it today?

Try taking that drug with the butterfly that flies around you at night. What's it called....Lunesta? I think thats it.

Holy crap! I did not know that.
I hate to say it, but I'm thinking twice about eating there now.

Chipotle is crap. All it is, is a tortilla full of rice and beans, with some meat scattered in there.
THAT IS NOT A BURRITO!!!!!!
I guess Im spoiled living in Calmexifornia.

p.s.
have your friends from back home send you some peanut butter... hollow out the center and stuff an eighth in there. Should help your sleeping problem

Brian, we been thinking about that, and my only issue with it is that coming into contact with PB induces anaphylaxis. aka, I'm allergic ala deadly to peanut butter. I heard fedex doesn't ask too many questions about what's in the box, though.
Yes, Chipotle IS owned by McD's. It's too bad that the rest of the chain can't take the route they are. The meat is fabulous, the food is REALLY good and they don't serve it with any grease or fat. (who's gonna finish that line for me?)
Mikey, eat there and I promise you won't be disappointed.
I'm with brian on the good mexican food, though. I had a staple spot I loved back home. It was a little hole in the wall, but damn it was tasty!
Sorry Dave, though I had it in the ashtray, my bad.

The mexican place I used to eat at?
It's called Sam's Taqueria (sp?) It's in downtown puyallup across from Grayland Park and the Puyallup Recreation Memorial Center Annex on Meridian. It used to be a gas station. By now I suppose they've finished their remodeling --I remember when they first started out, it was just a small kitchen in a little convenience store. Now, they've hollowed out the store and added a kind of bar-like thing where you can watch Spanish TV on a big screen I don't really care about that, its mostly about the food. They've made the kitchen pretty big, too and have seating all along the walls.
I suggest the Tortas, but any of it is bound to be delicious.
I went and had a Torta after my godfather's funeral, he was the one that introduced me to the place, and I made sure to eat there one more time before I left town because I didn't know when I was gonna be back.
I'm actually doing fine down here, just irritable without coffee and chocolate from home. Trust me, I'm perfectly happy -- I've been having a month and a half of incredible sex.

Jake, that's the other one, called El Jimador. There, I recommend the El Diablo Wings. Heh, it recently occurred to me that I know a good list of mexican places all across Pierce county.

Need help bringing shit down? People are garbage and 90% of the population needs to be (nicely) enslaved to support the good 5% so that they can advance everybody by improving health and quality of life and prevent the masses from falling for the lies of the evil 5%. Fuck it, it's too late. Humans need to die. Where's the next step in evolution that replaces us? Self-aware robots? Aliens? I wish they'd hurry the hell up.
How's that? I can listen to a little more Swans and come up with something else if that's no good.

I have. PLENTY of times. My ex and I practically lived there.
The food tastes good, don't get me wrong. But now that I know McDoodles owns it, I'm second-guessing now.
Hear hear beatersubi. I'M the one who needs to be crabby. I
was having incredible sex, now I have Rosy Palm and her five sisters.
If you want me to make this thread depressing, lemme know. You all know me, I'll do a fine job of it.

I'm allergic ala deadly to peanut butter.
Look into Almond Butter then. Its peanut butter, just made with almonds.
That or coffee does the trick too.

Heh, the trick is getting the people who owe me favors and petty cash to drum up a good bag and manage to put it in the mail properly.
EDIT:
I finally got my package today! Hooray for chocolate and coffee!!! I also ordered what I needed, supply-wise.
I got sleepypills last night and they worked better than I expected. (I overslept) So now I just hafta track down a bag and I'll be just fine!
