what does a dieing turbo sound like?

i think i can hear a clicking sound like if u put something in a fan.
That sure ain't the turbo.... that thing spins at well over 20K RPM, and has like 15 blades on the turbine wheel...I doubt you'd hear individual clicks.
You may be hearing the injectors firing... does the click frequency increse with engine RPM?
If it's very loud, probably a sticky lifter.
