Brake question

OK so, I needed to change my pads and I did so front and back. I went with regular pads. I put about 100 miles on the car and the brakes just didn't seem to work great. I let a friend from work take the car for a romp and he said that it felt to him like i needed to flush the brake fluid. I just did the flush yesterday and the old fluid was brown and yucky and there were some bubbles at one of the calipers. so I figured that was my problem. Well, I take the car out and it feels exatly the same. so now I dont know. The rotors looked ok to me but maybe I should replace those. Any thoughts?

do they feel mushy?
that could be a bad master cylinder of brake hoses.
it could also be cheap pads, they tend to be pretty crappy.

its basically the same as before I changed the pads. The car always felt mushy on the brakes. I can completely burry the brake pedal and not have the abs even come on.

Assuming they're well bled that could point to a master cylinder problem.

I have a friend with a few newer MCs and brake boosters, if you want I can ask him how much they are.

a rebuilt master should be about $50 if you can find it.
