Need Help Choosing Tires!!!

Hey guys and gals, I just got a $500 scholarship from my P-tech center for tires. Our tech center gets all of it's tires at cost, so money shouldn't be an issue. I was wondering what your thought were on the following tires, and what you would suggest. These will mainly be my summer/track/auto-x tires.

Here they are:

1. Kumho Ecsta ASX
2. Falken Azenis ST115
3. Kumho Ecsta SPT
4. Goodyear Eagle Response Edge
5. Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S
6. Bridgestone Potenza S-02
7. Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3
8. Fuzion ZRi
9. Yokohama ADVAN A048
10. BFBoodrich G-force R1
11. Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1
12. Kunho Ecsta MX

Not all of these may be options, I'm not sure if they carry yokohama, or pirelli, I'm pretty sure they stock the rest.

Please give me your top 3 choices!!

Thanks everyone!

S-02, S-03, A048.

Do not get an all-season.

What are your thoughts on the Azenis ST615's? How are they different from the 115's?

The RT-615's are pretty awesome. But because of their tread pattern they aren't so good in the wet.

I'm almost positive they are stickier than all the tires you listed.

what size do you plan on running?
Kumhos have been known to wear fast and are pretty sensitive to alignment.
that being said, I have been happy with most of the sets I've had.

+1 for the RT-615's - I haven't owned them but I plan to soon.

Also the S-02, S-03's are awesome. I have two sets! Very sticky and great in the rain...

Heard great things about the Eagle F1's - but they are very expensive. If the price is the same, same per your deal, I'd strongly consider them.

You HAVE to be looking at TireRack.com too!

I have kumho MX's since I'm a cheap bastard. They are sticky enough for me, and because I beat tires to death I can afford to replace one If I puncture.

I think I have my heart set on the rt 615's. May end up going with the Hankook ventus or mx's though. We'll see when the time comes.

Alright, it is down to the hankook ventus and falken rt-615. Just need help picking a size.

Currently running on 205-55-16's with 05 WRX Wheels, dropped on Whiteline springs.

I plan on running Ground Control Springs and AGX's when I install the new tires.

What sizes would you guys suggest? 205-50-16? 215-45-16? 225-50-16?

Thanks

225/50-16 is a bit of a stretch for 6.5" wheels and I can't really guarantee they'll fit and/or not rub.

Probably best to go with the Falkens in 205/50-16.

Thanks Jamal, but I didn't see a fitting for the Falken's in a 50 series tire. Only 215-45-16.
