Yeah, my brother gave me an external wifi thingamabob, and it seems to work, hell, i am posting on it!

I wander around my property, 50 x 150, and I get from 3 to 15 wifi access points, but most are protected. But obviously a few are not!

Well, ethics or not, I am doing this at this point for kicks.... just cause it freaking works. crazy.

We have our own wifi network but is really locked down.... And we have like, the only one in La Center...

But when I am in town... Lets go war drivin!! lol

Same here dude! Now adays with the price of routers (like $10 for a decent one) everyone has one. Especially for the built in firewall feature.

although cracking one and using it is illegal, but it's interesting how unsecure WPA/WEP is to anyone that knows computers

I say open wifi is just that, open.. I have mine protected with WPA cuz I don't want the neighbors kids looking up any more pr0n on my internet connection
