I hit 180,730 miles in my Legacy today. To me, that is a big deal because that means I've put as many miles on it as the previous owner did. I bought it with 90,365 miles on it and at that mark, I had put 90,365 miles on it.

Of course the car is mine legally, but now I kinda feel like it's mine in spirit too. Something along the lines of me being a bigger part of the car's life than the previous owner.

Don't mind me. I'm extremely exhausted and ever-so-slightly intoxicated.

i have another 40,000 to go before i double the miles from the previous owner on mine.

i bought it with 150,000...

I have some 198000 miles left before I double the mileage that I bought it at.

My wagon had just over 400,000 miles when I stupidly melted a piston in the original motor. I swapped in another motor so she can stay alive and hit the half million mile mark, but then my speedo took a sh*t so I have no more odometer.
