A quick glance at the picture and I see paint missing on the front bumper and the drivers floormat looks to be in bad shape. The rear right passenger carpet looks dirty.
What was the final price?

Ericem You must be looking at different pictures than I am.
I know the difference between superclean/mint and average.
Look near the accelerator

dang ciper ur pretty critical. Most would dream of having such clean floor mats after 95k!!! Wearable item. Enough said. Well looks like my turbo sedan is becoming the project car after all. My green na is gonna be doing lifes dirty work as a utility vehic. And this new car will be my daily driver (pavement princess) after all was said and done I spent 7300 on registration, car and insurance. I think I got a pretty good deal.

I see both points of view on the cond. of this car.
It is a nice clean daily driver, but it is not a show car.
I like it!
Are these cars H/G blowers?
I'd like an OB or GT wagon around this model year / body style but will avoid them if they are headaches (like the DOHC 2.5s).
Cool that is has all service records too, my '96 OBS had all service records in a binder from day 1 including the window sticker & purchase reciept.

well its wasnt supposed to be a show just a good reliable daily driver. I think the head gaskets were ok on these motors. Wasnt the problem motors the phase 1 dohc motors? All I know is I have a gutless wonder of a car compared to my ss. That's probably fine because I did just pay off a speeding ticket that I got last month

My sister has a 2000 Outback and it's been a nightmare. I don't know if they changed the engines between 00 and 01.

That car is pretty much perfect. One of my details will have that "spot" near the acc. pedal gone in about 10 minutes!!
Very good buy!

You... ahem... "newer" guys (all in fun

) will need some time to get used to ciper now that he's back.
And though I don't always agree with him, in this case I do. The car does indeed look beautiful, but I would hardly call pointing out a blatantly obvious spot on the floormat "picky." Not that it's difficult to remedy... just get new floormats.
Congrats on the purchase.
