Once again it's Will Smith to save the world. . . Are there any movies that he isn't the center of attention and isn't on some kind of mission?
Not gonna see it.

But is it worth $10.50? That's what they cost here. I know the book was awesome.

It is worth at least a matinée.
He does a pretty good job playing a lonely man, in a weird situation, who is obsessed and slowly going insane, but trying to maintain sanity.
CG GT500 was pretty lame though.

It's a classic written in the '50's. An inspiration to a generation of horror writers. Sort of a redefinition of a vampire story, though more like the later zombie movie genre in spirit with reflections on society and alienation probably influenced by the cold-war climate. The horror element is more there for protagonist purposes than the point of the story as the theme is alienation. I personally don't like horror for the sake of horror - I find it dull, shallow, and pointless, but stories like this are great as, through the use of monsters, they discuss what it is to be a human.

It probably would've been easier for me just to have taken their entry anyway.

I Am Legend is way better than The Omega Man.
Like most movies with monsters, the parts where you can't see them are better. The CGI characters weren't the best. The CGI scenes looked good though.
I think it's the best Will Smith-saves-the-world type movie, even if the ending isn't so great.

I'd be interested in seeing a movie w/ the fresh prince in a supporting role. I can't think of one off the top of my head.

hahaha i'd even consider paying $10.50 to see it. it's nothing that's out of this world, but it's still a pretty decent movie (compared to the others that are out right now).

It looks entertaining, but I never go to the movies with those prices. I can get the DVD a few months later for not much more. Not that I buy too many of those either - I've lived long enough to see all five of the Hollywood Formulas for Success several times over. Rarely does something good and original sneak past the guards.

i liked it a lot, the ending wasnt the best, but will smiths acting was off the chart. i think he played the role perfect, great balance of going crazy and trying to keep sane

Costco sells movie tickets for around 15$ per pair. They are the unrestricted platinum/gold versions too. No reason to pay full price!

Forget Will Smith. The dog was the better actor. Seriously, I've never seen a movie dog trained so well.

I wish movies were $7 here, most places are about 10.
