I'm trying to slap some EBC yellowstuff pads in on fresh turned rotors, but the caliper will not swing down over the pad on the outside, Its barely hitting the pad on the outside, I'm not sure if the caliper is just a bit tweeked from the beating it took with the hammer to get one of the support blots out or these pads just don't wanna fit. They fit a 1991 with stock setup, I have a 1992, heres a photo, thanks

Did you compress the piston yet on the caliper? Also are you sure your disc is seated against the hub properly?

Oh the OUTER!! LOL! Id suggest you remove the caliper and clean the slider bolt and insides and the slider on the bottom. I did that with my car with rubber safe brake cleaner and then relubed with synthetic brake slider grease really good. Then changed to DOT-4 synthetic brake fluid. Also did the brake pads with ceramic pads and new plain discs, all I could say was WOW talk about a HUGE difference I can lock up any time and the pedal felt perfect! Insane for N/a brakes!!
