do you want to get rid of it?
i think there is a speaker (or some sort of noise making thingy) under the dash somewhere that makes the beep, probably on the drivers side
ive heard of people putting glue or silicone on them to deafen them

There are two wires under your steering column that connect to the ignition switch. Those are for that circuit, and when disconnected the beeping stops. Thats all they do.

It's there to let you know the door is open, or just because they thought it was cool to have your car beep at you everytime you start it.
I tried to look for a diagram, but I can't find one.

yea i have racing seats so naturally i took out the old seat belt motors...lighten the car up a bit. But i as far as the seat belt conector thing i completed the circut but still got a beep beep noise when i was driving!! that was so annoying but i just desconected the black connectors under the dash and all is well now.

All you need to do is remove the seatbelt controller. It's located in the trunk on the driver's side.
