I have not removed the steering wheel from my 91ss but before I do, I want to know if the hub has a splined connection or if it's a D shaped post that fits into the wheel hub. I have an old Grant steering wheel and hub that came off a Camaro. It uses the D style, well actually there are 2 flat sides on the steering shaft. I'm trying to rig up something.

So, is the steering shaft splined?

Where can I find a cheap steering wheel hub and horn button to go with my eBay $5 steering wheel? I looked on ebay but can't find a Subaru one that isn't $85 plus $20 shipping.

I didn't pay that much for mine brand new, though that was almost 10 years ago.
