Yea at around a 100km/h the speedometer is sticky/slow
to respond.
It just started happening, is my speedo cable frozen or do they
wear out???
Anyone?

while that is possible, it is equally possible that the speedo head is bad as well.
I would look at the gearing in the trans and the head to see if either has damage

And while you're at it, lube the cable.

Yup time to lube / clean the cable. Often, junk from around the tranny will work its way up the cable into the back of the instrument cluster.

Mine was ~5 mph slow / bounced around a lot for a while, then one day driving along the highway it broke! That was a fun little task to replace...

Hahahaha
I'm on my 3rd 90-94 legacy and they all did that sticky @ 100km thing!!! One minute i'm doing 100 then boom 130!!!! Since all the others were beaters I didn't care, but I'd like to fix my new baby.

Can anyone describe how and where to lube the speedo cable??
