Rear wiper power issue

Rear wiper issue. Okay, thought the old rear wiper was dead so I picked up a new (used) one and plugged it in today....turn the stalk...nothing. I could hear the relay clicking by the rear speaker but the wiper motor was not turning. I didn't have a volt meter at the time and can get one tomorrow. So I'm thinking between the relay and motor there is an issue? What else should I look for? The washer works just fine...different circuit maybe.... thanks in advance!!

I'd replace the relay. My fuel pump relay clicked, which lead me to believe that it wasn't the problem. But it actually was.

Just my $0.02

Mine was the same way. Check the relay where the rear right speaker is. I just gave mine a good bash and it worked.

Just an update. I got a new rear wiper relay and put it in and it solved the problem. In case anyone needs to order one, I got mine from rockauto.com Part # was WS31R1092 Windshield Wiper Motor Relay....about $16 after shipping. Thanks for everyone's help.

I just bashed mine a few times and nothing. I have the whole clicky but no worky thingy going on. But the washer fluid shoots out. Even though I have a wiper motor on the way. If that doesn't fix it, then I will try replacing the relay. If teh relay is the prolem, it won't hurt to have an extra motor laying around.

I wish I would have replaced the relay first since it is very easy to strip the nut that holds the motor flush to the glass. Be very careful loosening that nut. I stripped one and the person shipping me one did the same.

Ok, I will keep that in mind.

One other thing, if I can hear my relay clicking, that means it's still good right? This is with my rear wiper turned on, I plug in the relay and i hear it click "on", and then I unplug it and it clicks "off".
