So about six months ago i took off my Crank Pulley Due to extreme Wabling, to find that the key way was destroyed and the pull itself was grinded right down.

so after six months of my car siting in the garage doing nothing, over the past week i've been working on pulling the engine out, and yesterday it finnaly came out.

so i guess the next step is to tear the engine completely apart, as i have to replace the Crankshaft.

So i know i need to get a rebuild ket from Subaru, anyone know what comes in that kit?

I have a used crankshaft, should i get it balanced?

What else should i have done/replaced as i'm just trying to return this engine back to stock.

Thanks in advance for input.

At the very least, I would replace: rod bearings, piston rings and every gasket and seal you can find. Haha.

By rebuild kit, are you referring to the gasket set?

The plugs, wires, and gasket rebuild with headgaskets are all here.

I remember when my harmonic pulley came loose thanks to the guy who didn't crank down the front bolt to 140ft-lbs. I had to buy the key, and harmonic pulley. I just grabbed some pliers and pulled and bent and pulled until it came out then installed the new one and put the new harmonic pulley on. few hundred $$ later and cranking down the bolt and I was off to the races :D
