WTB: turbo legacy heads

Hi all,

Looking for turbo legacy heads. I took mine off and found a burnt valve causing the misfire and low compression. Bottom end looks fine and i'm not prepared to do a WRX head swap just because of the lack of knowledge so i'm hoping i can get away with slapping on some 2.2 turbo heads someone has laying around in good condition for a decent price so i dont have to spend the time and money for a rebuild of my old ones.

Thanks

i'm out in cali =T

92618 business address might be a bit cheaper.

i think i bought wrx brakes and O6 TMIC from you.

You think i can just slap them on or just better off rebuilding the heads i have now?

if they are not cracked you should be in good shape. I have used junkyard heads adn a set of another car. you have to check the heads, but if from frank (blackbart) you have a very good chance of then being good.

make sure you get the right head gasket size. there are a few. they are usually .026 or .054 thick. wrong one could hurt your valves. rule of thumb .020 is the thickness of a match box cover.

depending on shipping cost they may be cheaper from blackbart.

good luck with the removal and replacement of the heads.

be well, Bepa

not so important to get from dealer. first I go to friend with tax number/discount and order thru there account. you should make sure they know you are doing this. always nice to ask before using there name/account.

I go to autozone. have a good hook there. getting parts local can cut some of the extra b.s. out.

and as far as frank goes he is one of the best guys to deal with that I have found. and if you get the chance meet him in person.

thanks for reading and enjoy your subaru. I do.

be well, bepa
