Breather/PCV Question

OK, so I'm wrapping up all of the breather lines on my EJ22T. I know from the diagram vrg posted that there is a small breather towards the front of the block (just behind the knock sensor) which gets connected to the front breather connections on either valve cover. However, there are three fittings I'm confused about because only two are listed on the diagram.

The blue circle is coming off of the side of the intake manifold. This fitting is on the diagram and is tied in to the rear fittings on each of the valve covers.
The green circle shows about where a fitting is all the way down on the block - buried by the intake manifold. It is a 3/4" fitting. That I believe is also pictured on vrg's diagram and also ties into the other fittings.
The red circle is a mystery. I think it is part of the evap purge system but I'm not sure. It is also a 3/4" fitting. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks!
